Prairie Band Ag, we’re not just about agriculture. We’re about traditions. Our work encompasses more than traditional farming, branching into horticulture, regenerative agriculture, and land restoration. We channel the wisdom of our ancestors, the Potawatomi people, “the keepers of the fire,” who respected the land and preserved it for future generations.

Our mission is to cultivate prosperity for our Nation through sustainable farming and land stewardship practices. By harnessing the power of nature and the latest in agricultural innovation, we generate income and employment for our tribal members while ensuring long-term productivity and sustainability.

At Prairie Band Ag, we have significantly invested in industrial hemp farming and processing, recognizing its critical role in achieving our sustainability and regenerative goals. With a primary focus on producing quality Hurd, Milled Hurd, and Raw Bast Fibers. We’re dedicated to fully leveraging every part of our harvest in line with our commitment to sustainability, diversification, and full-circle production.

We are committed to maximizing the unique sovereign status of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation to build and diversify our economic portfolio. Our guiding principles are respect for the past, capitalizing on present opportunities, and contributing to a stable financial future for our Nation.

Prairie Band Ag facilities is registered as an Agritourism Business through the Kansas Agritourism Program. We offer tours at our facility to educate on how we  process our hemp materials. Field tours of our plants are also offered only during the growing season. Please contact our team if you are interested in the production process or want to schedule a site/tour visit!

Zach Gill – Manager

As our Production Manager, Zach has been with Prairie Band Ag for over two years. Zach was born and raised in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, right in the heart of the grass seed capital of the world. Early in his career, he spent most of his industrial work overseeing the pressing facilities and exporting grass seed and straw overseas. During his time in that industry, he worked for three of Oregon’s most predominant straw-exporting companies. That unique work experience led Zach to work as a lead supervisor for the agricultural sector of the largest Shell biogas facility in the United States. Zach now supervises the farming and hemp processing facility for Prairie Band Ag.
